Today marks the end of an era for Jet Nightclub who will be closing its doors to make way for 10AK Las Vegas later this year. Jet Nightclub housed inside of the Mirage Hotel and Casino has been a premiere Nightlife hotspot hosting celebrity events and performances. In an announcement, August 2011, The Light Group which operates the nightclub stated that the club would be closing on September 6th. After closing, the current site will undergo remodeling in preparation for a New Years Eve 2011 grand opening as 10AK Las Vegas. The new 10AK Las Vegas nightclub comes out of a partnership between The Light Group and Butter Group of New York. Butter Group of New York currently owns and operates upscale trendy nightclubs and lounges along the east coast and Brazil. To ensure Jet Nightclub is remembered for some of the hottest live events and nightlife parties, Fabolous will hit the stage live on September 5th as Vegas bids farewell. Also, on September 6th Bare Pool at Mirage will host a Jet Nightclub closing recovery party. So if you are in Las Vegas plan on attending these events that are sure to go down in history.
