One of music’s biggest nights will be held in Vegas at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino on Sunday May 20th. Yes! we’re talking about the 2012 Billboard Music Awards where the biggest names in music today are honored by Billboard Magazine. The awards are based on the reporting period of March 1, 2011 through February 29, 2012. Basically, finalists are recognized on number of downloads and total airplay. Top artists will be recognized in a variety of genres, including R&B, Rap, Pop, Country, Rock, Latin and Alternative. This year’s lead finalists include: Rihanna, LMFAO, Adele, Lady Gaga, and Lil’ Wayne, amongst other finalists in various music genres. There will also be moments of entertainment as Carrie Underwood, Justin Bieber, Kelly Clarkson, Usher and more perform on this memorable evening.
